New Trends of Migratory Waterbirds in the Wadden Sea
The annual trend analyses of migratory birds based on trilateral count data from 1987/1988 until 2007/2008 has been published.
For each of 34 waterbird species, 10- and 21-year trends have been calculated for the entire Wadden Sea as well as for the four subregions The Netherlands, Niedersachsen, Schleswig-Holstein and Denmark. The annual updating of migratory bird trends is organized by the Joint Monitoring of Migratory Birds (JMMB) Group and published on the website of the Common Wadden Sea Secretariat.
